MISSION
Inspiring educators to promote literacy within and beyond the classroom
VISION
All children will know the joy and success that comes from literacy.
Our chapter values all members as unique individuals. We welcome the variety of experiences they bring to our chapter. As such, we have a strict non-discrimination policy. We believe everyone should be treated equally regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, citizenship, or any other characteristic protected by law.
Congratulations,
Kennett Library & Resource Center!
The Adult Literacy Program at Kennett Library and Resource Center, Kennett Square, was the recipient of the 2024-2025 Celebrate Literacy Award. The award is given yearly to a person or organization that supports literacy in a significant way. The Adult Literacy Program fits that bill in a big way! When you're in Kennett Square, it's worth a visit to Kennett Library.

Lupe Ruiz, Adult Literacy Program Assistant; Marsha Townsend, KSLA Celebrate Literacy Award Chairperson; Filomena Elliot, Adult Literacy Program Director; Chris Manna, Library Director
